BARRANCO MASCÚN, GUARA
RACO DEL CORB
It seems like a paradise freaking far away from us however this unbelievable crag is near at hand, just a few ks away from Calpe. It turns out that you cannot only go climbing with all the gear but also go what is known as "psicoblock". It´s a kind of climbing without rope where if you fall or slip you just have to push yourself away from the wall and jump out to the water. So it´s quite important to take height into consideration. hehe
It wasn´t long ago when the protection was put in the route but obviously the humidity has rusted the bolts. Scary
In spite of climbing over the sea high walls can be found in this cliff.
One of the best adventages of climbing in this crag is that unbeatable conditions can be found during the winter months such as high temperatures (20 degrees), sunny days, green water, and every now and then a breeze of fresh.
Dont forget your chalkbag because even if you have chalk its quite difficult to keep your hands dry. Sweet and warm temperature make tough to climb these rocks.

ICE IN PEÑALARA
Peñalara is a well known summit in Madrid where a totally different scenery can be found depending on the season. The next pics were unbelievably taken over there where once every blue moon the ice cascade are formed. Extremely freezing conditions are needed to stare at this marvelous phenomenon. And one more time...there we were ;)
It took us a long time to get ready to start the adventure because of the gale and blizzard that was hitting us from the very first moment.

COCIDITO MADRILEÑO
We were about getting our cold feet when we finally made up our minds to go through this impressive route in Alicante. Sierra de Aitana.To go all the way up there is a 500m wall where it is necessary to do a 6b. Dont worry about protection cause the route is well protected all the way. The highlight is located in the sixth pitch where a 7b can be climbed or easily avoidable with a foodloop step.
The light vary depending on the the time of the day. In the early morning with the break of the day this astonishing, orange, blinding light might help you to enjoy your climbng ;)

AROUND SOUTH EUROPE
TORRE GRANDE DI LAVAREDO Y CAMPANILE BASSO
That time we decided to head to Italy instead of driving around Spain. The Campanille Baso can be found in Brenta, Region of Trento. With a height of 2883 m it has got not only an impressive natural beauty but also a 300m high vertical wall whose shape is pretty much like a sharp needle that challenge you to get to the top each time you look at it.
Borja is struggling to do this traverse with an unbeatable enviromment surrounding him. Using chalk while he´s thinking his next movement. The space beneath him doesn´t help to concentrate on the slender, choosy crag.
Heavy gear must be used in Trento due to the lack of bolts or protection in the wall. Maybe we were a bit over-exagerated.... We could have easily lost the harness hehe.
Reach the top of this wall is just a magic as the pictures show. Speechless.
!!!We did have a good time!!!
South France is where these beautifull canyons are placed. I still remember driving up from Madrid to Montpellier. It seemed like the never-ending road...It took us ages to do it!! But we´ve brough the irrefutable proof.... For all of this is was worth.
CHOCHE BRO´S
You can easily see-through the water when the current allows you to do it. Sometimes the light come through the canyon and amazing light-effects can be observed in the caves. The only thing that you have to do is "be in the right place at the right moment".
We were surprised by a strong water flow when we were doing the activity. But there we were....and if you make your mind to walk along one of this marvellous phenomenon you must know that normally the only way out is in the other side of the canyon...so....LETS DO IT!!

We were so lucky to find this natural slide in the middle of the mountain. We wasn´t expected that this slide could be doable at all but after having a peek to the guidebook...It was safe enough to do it!!!! Here we go!!

Aneto Summit 3404 m. We got the summit in the pretty early morning...at 9 A.M.!! Waking up at 5:00 a.m. when the day had not broken yet its not what I was dying for but all this effort become worthwhile at the instant that my mind went blank seing all this unique views.
Having passed the "portillon superior" The snow showed up making us use cramps and ice axe. It was summer but due to the rough winter there were plenty of snow everywhere...I wish I could have brough my snow board hehe!!
walking over the glaciar which is made of hard and blue ice was one of the most coolest part of the excursion. How great it feels when you walk along the ice feeling the streams under your feet. Hopefully the ice wont fall apart.

Peñon de Ifach is by far one of the most beautiful crags in Spain. Everything is about finding yourself climbing 335m over the sea in a high quality rock that let you to enjoy every single movement. Depending on the route protection can make you freak out so just make sure the route chosen isn´t it over-expose and check if any extra gear such as Friends or stoppers are needed before climbing. Remember that water can be as important as your Harness in this wall. Highly recommended start climbing at the break of day.
One more time, My older brother and I setted off to Alicante looking for a new adventure. As usual, we decided the destination ones we were on the road. " what do you feel like? Riglos? ohh noo, It might be cold...What about Cuenca? really?what about something taller and bigger? Ok, Peñon de ifach...here we go!
That what I was talking about, Keep in mind that humity can rust the protection so you better be aware that good looking protection will be only found in the sport routes. Obviously any of them are gonna fail but your mind could play you if you are not ready for it.
One of the advantage of climbing over here is that as soon as you get higher the views are better and better. Trust me if I tell you that once you are up there every single movement must be thought for a while not only because of the difficulty but also for the space.

I have no words to describe such a great time we had in this Natioanl Park. Kayaking from one island to the next one as if there were no tomorrow, eager to jump off the Kayac and explore the wildness and unbeatable scenary of the North part of the South Island.

-NELSON LAKES NATIONAL PARK-
The early bird catches the worm, this saying was really usefull in our trip. We lived these pretty long days from dawn to dusk visiting as much as posible. The first day we made it until this massive lake called Nelson that we found in our way the glaciars.

Forest, long stone beaches and mountains can be found in this sea as if there were a scenary made to please your eyes. Just the sound of the sea was heard for a while is this special place.
- BOUNDARY CREEK VIEWS -
Climbing up this mountain wasn´t easy at all if we keep in mind that we were 3 spanish guys in an unknown terrein without the right gear and having slept like...4 hours? We had to celebrate it. hehe.

I did fall in love with this city at first sight. Dunedin is known as the little Edinburg and I did enjoy this city that much that now Edinburg is in my bucket list. I wont forget the Cadbury chocolate factory and this huge cathedral turns into a pretty cool disco in the heart of the town.

CLIFFS OF MOHER
Whithout no shadow of doubt, The Cliff of Moher which are located to the north of Galway are one of the most vertical and impressive spots in Irland.
Keeping in mind that they are 1,5 h away from Galway I strongly recommend you dont miss the bus back to the city, otherwise you´ll be oblige to hichhicking and have a lot of fun with a weird bus full of Ucranians that cant speak and English word.
KILLARNEY NATIONAL PARK
If you have the chance just rent a bike and get lost in this magic National Park. There are different tracks depending on your level from 40min walks to 4 hours steep walks with amazing views.
GLENDALOUGH
Where the old monks used to live. Beyond doubt this place was choosen not only because the quietness but also for one of the deepest and more extensive lake in Irland and their surroundings. Life wildness and spirituality can easily be enjoyed in this natural reserve. NOTE: Swimming is not allow, jejeje.
Going for the 2 hours track around the Lake and it´s mountais is hight recommended. Don´t be lazy.
AROUND GALWAY
Connemara is packed with charming towns where taste the irish tea and chat with the locals can be enjoyable. Unbeliebable beaches can be found in the surroundings.
